Possibly the best we’ve looked going forward all season, and it’s no surprise that has come with a return to the diamond formation which worked so well the last two seasons but has barely been used this. Of course Crawley were abysmal at the back but it’s nice to see some chances created after the last few weeks.
Not convinced we’ll use that formation going forward as we looked quite open but we will see. Some excellent individual performances, the formation suits DKD down to the ground but two or three times he got pelters from Clough for his defensive work. He was so creative today that he nearly even set up a goal for Telford.

Very hard to pick a MOM as so many players played really well. The sponsors gave it to Davis Keillor Dunn but Ollie Clarke, Kieran Wallace, Rhys Oates, Lucas Akins and Stephen Quinn were all good candidates. Jordan Bowery, James Perch, Alfie Kilgour and Elliott Hewitt played well in defence and Christy Pym made two good saves.
Credit to Crawley as well who came to play out from the back and not foul, spoil, time waste and slow the game down like Sutton United. However I hope they play 5 at the back and 1 up front against Bradford City.

I said exactly the same scores for HT and FT, and was also disappointed we hadn't really spanked them
