Any word on the condition of Rhys? Looked a nasty fall - I thought collar bone at first. He didn't seem to be moving his arm/shoulder much as he walked off and looked to be in some considerable pain. Could give us a bit of a problem up top, given other injuries and how instrumental he is.

Didn’t look great at the time, but the fact he sat it out in the dug out and wasn’t rushed back was a good sign.
Cloughie only briefly mentioned it in the post match interview too and didn’t seem overly concerned so hopefully just a bit of a knock.

I got all excited, thought we'd got another signing albeit a very similar name to Rhys Oates.

We don't have anyone called Rhys Oates. Only Rhys Goates.

On Rhys Oates, Nigel Clough told iFollow Stags: "He's got a shoulder/chest problem. We'll see how that settles down over the next day or two.

That's great Martin but what about the condition of Rhys Goates?

Clearly its disrespectful to the actual Rhys Goates if there is one, but given a very large proportion of the global population are on good old Facey B, and there's not one account by that name *yet*. If there is one though, the stress this thread must be causing is surely gonna keep them up at night...

Ahhh, not on that one myself, but their DM's must be going like the clappers today with all this talk about him. Bit like the whole Nick Pope thing on Twitter last week

I’d give them the benefit that they are doing wordplay on goat as in greatest of all time?

If it was Beevers, he would have been back on and scored another.

And my first thought was when Man City fans used to say feed the goat and he will score, about Shawn Goater

Anyway back on subject. As soon as the 4th went in we took Macca off. Rhys should have been subbed at the same time. The two players we don't have good enough replacements for. Wrap them both in cotton wool.
