Posh supporting friend says it would be a really good move for Stags. Rates him highly

This thread is comical.
Pym has been excellent throughout his career, has proven experience at the level and it’s still to come into his prime years (he’s 27).
Still not good enough for some of our fans.

The reaction to that is equally as ridiculous isn’t it?!
What do people expect?

Agreed, as i said earlier in.
Good enough to play 40 games and promotion from the league above, but not good enough for mansfield fans sat behind a computer, good lord.

Equally a bit of an overreaction. Only one person out of 35 posts has said no, and another that they’re not sure.

To be fair to Adam Pym is way better in goal than Akins....
These are my opinions , if you don't like them I have others...

Would be a great signing.
As for his height ? Our greatest keeper Rod Arnold was under 6 foot.

I think this would be a great signing and along with Boateng shows intent by signing established League 1 performers. His height wouldn't be an issue, as said above he has had a good career and is proven, quality goalkeeper in the division above - seems a no brainer if the numbers work.
But i agree, Barry Fry and DMAC are only interested in pound notes
Does anyone know how well he did at Stevenage? Went a bit quiet after he signed there and with Evans link to Posh making it permanent either means he is too costly for them or Evans wasn't sold on him
Scored in front of the North Stand in April 1993. I was a Mascot but they all count.

Pym is 6 foot, according to Transfermarkt. So is Marriott. And Bishop.

Pym and Boateng are ex team mates at Exeter. I wonder if they were mates or didn’t get on.
Those accustomed to privilege may feel that equality is oppression.

Pym would be an excellent signing.
To those who say he's not tall enough, do you remember a couple of guys called Rod Arnold and Alan Marriott?

Yeah according to that, wiki and SofaScore he’s over 6ft. Where did that 5’10 come from?

Would have to be question 2
Question 1 is always
So (insert name here) why Mansfield Town?

Autocue. Well Stevo as soon I heard about the interest I was buzzing, really bought into what the manager had to say, just delighted to get it over the line and cant wait to get started.

Ferguson, McCann did not play him, did Evans made any attempt to sign him.
I would have thought Peterborough would be pleased to get him off their wage bill.
