He’s holding a Lincoln scarf in those pictures? I’ve heard he was incredibly rude and abusive to staff during his stay at King’s Mill.

He is wearing a Stags hat half way down the article. He definitely used to go to Stags games years ago, I remember him.

Matt Crawford was from Newark and did, when it suited him, support and attend matches at both Mansfield and Lincoln.
I knew him, didn't know he'd died.
RIP Matt, always seemed a troubled and desperately unhappy soul. Sad news.
You've got to go there and come back, to know where you've been.

Yeah, certain bus companies wouldn’t take him as he was a fire hazard.
Was costing the NHS £7k a week.
Clearly obviously no-one is wishing anyone dead, but i can’t imagine the staff in kings mill were devastated.
Not sure how someone call allow themselves to get to be that size tbh, but RIP.

Mods feel free to change the title to 'Matt Crawford dies' if you want to. I realise now it may read a little insensitive.

Knew him as Lincoln and only found out his real name when I read the news articles about him being in kingsmill for an extended period, was shocked and upset by his alleged behaviour towards care staff. Still sad to see him go and I’d assume complications due to his health issues? RIP Matt.

He was put on a calorie controlled diet at the hospital and then ordered Dominos pizza to the ward, whilst laying in his 7k a week bed.
Didn't want to help himself and was very unpleasant towards staff and is probably in a better place now.

Frequently travelled with me and was ok.
Only thing if there were pushchairs on the bus he couldn't travel as he had nowhere to sit because he couldn't get down the aisle.
