Top 7 winning, with Chesterfield yet to play. Plenty of time for them to fall out the playoffs.

Wrexham slipped up but I reckon they would be quite pleased with their point after playing with 10 men for 84+ minutes !

Heckova thump from Weston but the result will just be a leaking lifejacket as they slowly find it harder to keep their heads above water.

Paul Cook coming back tomorrow.

What a beautiful moment. Rowe gets caught with his pants down just at the time his side is wobbling a little and Cook is free.

PC would have been a coup for anyone in League Two, and most in League One.

Highly unlikely they’d be interested imo. Perhaps they’d be interested in Nigel?

they might. Many clubs will be when a manager is doing well. But Nigel Clough puts a high value on loyalty, and the club have shown real loyalty to him when we went 14 games without a win, so I do not believe for one second he would go to a basket case club that sacks its manager when they are third in the table.

Only danger with Sunderland is the link with his father.

Sunderland is nearly as big a 'poison chalice' as Forest. Clough would have no interest.
Meanwhile, Cook is 2nd favourite with the bookies.

I would amazed if he went to a club just because of the link with his dad. That isn't what motivates him from what I've seen chatting to him and listening to his interviews.

Look where he's managed ..... he won't be going up there. If he does move on in future, I think it will be to Forest.

Just pause for a second and have a think how ridiculous you sound. You’re tinpot. Paul Cook would need to be sacked 2/3 times from now to be interested in managing you.

The pull of Sunderland wouldn't be the link to his dad, although the nice connection might win him a few supporters early doors it would quickly wear thin.

The pull of Sunderland would be the massive potential, 30k plus fans and the chance to manage a big club and sleeping giant that at some point will wake up.

I believe he was very close to getting the job before Parkinson with the directors telling him he was their number one before disgracefully not showing up to an agreed meeting.

He'd probably love a crack at it but I don't see it happening at all, firstly the fans want a "fresher" name and secondly I'd say he appreciates what he's got here, which is brilliant owners, a loyal and supportive fan base and a chance to make himself a legend by taking us up.

The timing is wrong even if they show a hint of interest.

It's so funny how desperate they sound on Bob's Board. Some fans are claiming to have seen him at their last game. As if he'd do that while Rowe was still there
