Best wishes to Carolyn, and also John.
Also thoughts and support with their young lads too, I know what it's like to be a kid with an ill Mum - it doesn't leave you.

Let's hope the draw gives her a massive boost and she can look forward to hospitality at one of the biggest clubs, she deserves it.
Best wishes on a speedy recovery.

Your crass and frankly hurtful jibe at her wasn't called for .
How would you feel if it had been your mother?
As for me not posting good wishes, I'm sure she'd realise if she'd read your post she'll have known I have her best interests at heart as I'd highlighted your utter

Wish her a speedy recovery
And christ on a bike.. I've seen the comment and it's not even bad. Clearly not meant to offend either.

He's not been banned and has posted again on this thread, so hardly cancel culture. He had a post deleted, it's happened to a lot of us.
It was bad taste on a thread where it's clear something isn't right with Carolyn.
No need for it. None at all.

Have to admit that if I had a loved one going to hospital for an operation of what sounds like a health nature, people joking about it and being snidey would irk me somewhat.

I agree, I also ask PEAR CIDER how he'd feel if say one of his parents was going into hospital for urgent major surgery and I commented on here saying something like,
"I hope the operation for an ingrowing toenail goes well. Hope they get well soon'.
It would have folk rightly giving me a tough time. I doubt he'd be laughing about it saying, 'I can see the funny side of that’

Well I'm not a ponce so wouldnt be that bothered... as i said, the comment wasnt even offensive, had it been offensive if happily tell him myself. I'd also be more inclined to agree if it was one of my parents had it been offensive
Anyway, wish her well. It's over now

I think you are right Bellwhiff but, I'm afraid, this all comes down to someone not keeping their health problems private.
Why would anyone announce they are going to hospital for emergency treatment on social media if it were not attention seeking it is not normal?

Yeah I get that but we live in an era where it happens. I posted some great pics of my post op leg after my bike accident and got the piss ripped accordingly. Didn’t get any bitchy comments though. We all can see Carolyn’s body proportions have changed in the last couple of years but I don’t think there was any need to be snidey.

I think you are being a bit harsh ows. Carolyn likes to put things on social media. Personally I would have kept it to family and close friends ( as I suspect you would have too ). That doesn't mean it's wrong what she's done. We are all different.

John Radford posted this on facebook yesterday
Thank you for all the kind words on my birthday. I’m so happy to have my wife back home and she’s on the mend and my kids around me singing happy birthday. Thank you again to all my stags family - 3pts would be nice to top the day off. COYS!
