Is that possible? Is Hewitt the only "CB" available Saturday?

I’d rather play a cone, the lads a fraud.
Anyway, moving on
Time to stop the excuses
time to stop the daft mistakes
time to stop the indiscipline
time to stop the rot
It’s time to win.

Supporting Mansfield is like living with an incurable disease.
Just win. Please Clough, I believe in you. No fairy tale starts in the 'dark' they get dark in the middle, but inevitably the protagonists live 'happily ever after'. We beat Oldham and we're heading back towards our happily ever after.
The revival starts here.
You've got to go there and come back, to know where you've been.

We need to go on a run, but that has to start somehwere. One win would be great, but it wouldn't warrant getting carried away with against a really poor opponent (who are still in better form than us!)

We've got to stop the rot for good on Saturday and that means 3 points with hopefully no red cards or injuries.
Come on stags, let's get bloody going now

Technically speaking we are on a run.
But yeah let's get our best available players in their best positions and go from there.

Bishop
Clarke Hawkins Hewitt SM
Maris
Charsley Clarke
Lapslie
Johnson Bowery
Law and Ward are pushing Maris and probably Clarke/Charsley hard for a starting place after last night.

Bowery and Charsley wing backs? Really don’t need to be putting ourselves in that position!

It's Oldham at home so Hawkins should go upfront, surely Law and Hewitt can manage at the back in this game.
Let's go all out for a win in an attacking style.
Hopefully Forrester gets 20/30 mins if we are 3-0 up.

Law?!
I might of meant Ward, anyone will do who can walk, I just want Hawkins upfront with Johnson for the next 10 games no matter what happens, think we have something special with those two.

Bishop.
Clarke Hewitt Hawkins McLaughlin
Oakes Clarke Maris Lapslie Bowery
Johnson.
With a rookie full back, our diamond midfield system would leave him too exposed so I would propose 4-5-1. I know Oakes is not a midfielder but I thought Charsley vacated the right hand side too often on Saturday and he would be too much of a risk in front of Clarke. We’ve played 4-5-1 before. I don’t see us going 3-5-2.
If Hawkins is unfit, then we are in a mess. Bowery at CH or McLaughlin across and Burke in at LB? Or would he prefer Law there as Burke got a right run around last night.
Let’s hope Hawkins is declared fit. Mind you, the way our season is going, it would not surprise you if he failed a fitness test. I would wrap Bishop up in cotton wool now. If we lose him, we really, really are in trouble.

I like that set up. The diamond system is leaving the full backs too exposed. For whatever reason it just isn't working this season.
Facts do not cease to exist because they are ignored.

Agreed it's a must for a win and it being against fellow strugglers.
Hope to see all the team bust a gut for the cause..the rot has got to end sometime surely.
