Lonergan has always played at a high level, his wages will be very high for a 3rd choice goalkeeper.

I’m taking it with a pinch of salt at the moment given Cloughy’s comments yesterday.

I hope Clough has learnt a lesson on goalkeepers it seems he has by starting from scratch, i thought Stech and Stone made to many mistakes, but to my horror i still remember Bywater he still gives me nightmares.

Lonergan’s are just friends of Caroline as they are all from Preston area.

Looks nowt like Marshall... hes on a good wage at Derby under contract and currently at the Euros... He also doesn't have a large tattoo on his arm.

Thought we were told to expect two on-loan keepers to arrive this week?

Not sure how it works with loan players, would of thought contract would start on or in pre season training.
Do they have to have medicals etc..

I think the club are just drip feeding information, for example the Ward contract signing was done a few days ago, and the agreement has been in place since the end of the season pretty much.

Fair enough, I was told he had signed it late last week/early this week. The agreement has been in place since the end of the season.

I see that Jamal Blackman is now out of contract and available. I rated him when he played for Wycombe on loan from Chelsea. Don't think he is on Nigel's radar though - and I suspect he might be looking for a high salary.

Apparently he was on 13k a week when he was at Wycombe. I know Wycombe didn’t pay that much.

Heard a rumour a few months ago that we were interested in Blackman but with Nige mentioning the two loan players I feel it might be off the table now.

He was at Rotherham last season, would assume another lower end type championship club would show an interest

Nathan Bishop from Manchester United is currently the in vogue rumour.

As good as the lad may be, at 21 he is a risk if he is next seasons nailed on first choice?
