Will be nice to see either side up, but torquay for the weekend does sound slightly more appealing than hartlepool

Torquay please.
Still have a vivid memory of an away game at Hartlepool in the early 80's, it was raining and absolutely freezing.
Bought a pie with the sole purpose of getting some heat into my fingers. The pie was cold and tasted awful.

If things continue like the last few days, there will not be any away days, shame.

The worst night I ever had watching football was at Victoria Park. A Tuesday night when they had knocked down the old stand to build the Cyril Knowles stand.

Driving rain coming straight in from the North Sea, I didn’t see a bloody kick all night.

I cannot fathom how that ground at Sutton United has been deemed suitable for the Football League.

Tough. But a level playing field for all must over ride the inconvenince for Sutton. Harrogate did ok and comfortably survived. Teams know the criteria for promotion when starting a season so planning for this should have been well under way from about last December when Utd looked probables.

When you think of the grounds in NL now such as Clownty, Wrexham, Stockport, Hartlepool, Torquay etc Gander Green is going to be like going back to our Conference days.

But then again it's going to be better than playing at Tesco's outside storage facility.

Come on you monkey hangers, love going in the Corner Flag bar up there and chatting with the locals, about players in common and football in general.Proper footballing territory up there.
I agree it is cold there though.
My first visit there was when I met Bob Newton(ex Pool player) in the Cockle , on mentioning that I was going to Victoria Park as doing the 92 he sorted out a freebie ticket for me.
They were playing Lincoln from the league above in the FA Cup,Pool won and it was very murky and cold.Good day out though.

Brilliant game between Torquay and Hartlepool. Torquay had a goal disallowed early on for a silly push. Some refs would have ignored it as the ball never reached the players concerned.

All Hartlepool's attacks are coming down the right - Sterry, Shelton and Oates. Great finish by Luke Armstrong (on loan from Salford) for the goal.

Crucial save by Torquay keeper from Oates header from a corner which was the last touch of the ball before half time. Could it be a turning point?

Terrible camera position in the heavens at Ashton Gate.

The lad Armstrong up front for the monkey hangers looks good.

Salford paid a fee for him from Middlesbrough in July 2019 and gave him a 3 year contract. He's only made 13(12) league starts for Salford and scored 1 goal. 29 starts for Hartlepool on loan and has scored 14 goals.
