Looks like the AFC Mansfield game which was previously announced will be a youth fixture on Saturday 17th July

Apart from Matlock away that's an uninspiring list.

The league campaign had better hit the ground running or the natives will be restless.

The fans had a meltdown last season at the friendlies we had. To me, they're just fitness builders and a way to familiarise players with tactics and formations. Couldn't really care who we play tbh but like you say, if we aren't top 7 after 5 games the natives will be wanting Clough gone

Hopefully the pre season will set us up nicely for a good start to the season. When did we last have a ‘good’ start to a season? I remember being in 3rd after we beat Chesterfield in September in our first season back up. I think every single start to a season since then has been very underwhelming, let’s start this one as we mean to go on.

Dno, some of our fans booed Matt Green and Matt Rhead when we played Lincoln and they both did a lot more for the club than Tyler did

Looks like no away fans for Retford and Matlock is going to be the case,
Hopefully Coventry at home could allow a full house.
Fingers crossed its nearly over.

How will they know if you're an away fan or not would be my question?

within the extended 4 weeks of restrictions, there will have to be social distancing at sporting venues, and hence restricted attendances. But that doesn't necessarily mean "no away fans".

If we take cricket as an example, Gloucestershire fans could buy a ticket for the game at Kent last night. Kent fans can buy a ticket for the game at Hove (I have done so myself for example).

25% of Matlock's capacity is 600. That'll be enough.

So the Alfreton game is not a first team game
