Harrogate's top rated players on whoscored. Josh March has been playing very well up front on loan from Forest Green Rovers. He has kept top scorer and former Worksop Town player, Jack Muldoon, with 11 league goals out of the side. Former Staveley and Handsworth Parramore player, Aaron Martin, has also done well up front. George Thompson is good on the right and takes a decent set piece. Simon Power (on loan from Norwich) played well against Carlisle United. Former Stags youth player, Warren Burrell, has been a solid defender and has played in every position in defence. Josh Falkingham is the worker bee in midfield. He normally plays with Lloyd Kerry. Kerry seems to have lost his place after they were hammered 5-2 at home by Scunthorpe. Connor Hall and Will Smith are big centre halfs who coped with Carlisle's aerial bombardment.

Chris Beech, Carlisle manager, complained that Harrogate's pitch was much narrower than Carlisle's and that was why Harrogate lead the League 2 stats on turnovers (winning the ball back).

Aaron Martin 7.27
George Thomson 7.03
Connor Hall 7.00
Will Smith 6.99
Josh March 6.99
Simon Power 6.81
Jack Muldoon 6.81

Do you think he has to “fancy” a player for him to get a place, KKT :D

The camera looks almost at pitch level. It might be difficult to see what happens on the far touch line. Let's hope the cameraman is up to it

I'm surprised Stone has started. I hope he does well. A clean sheet is the most important stat tonight.

I just don’t know what to expect tonight. We have certainly had the stuffing knocked out of us following the last 4 games and have shown what a confidence side we really are. Harrogate are also a bit hit and miss and can be very proficient one week and poor the next.

I just hope we come out fighting and put a stamp on it early on. The pitch looks better than ours and hopefully that will help us and we won’t fizzle out. Hoping for a win but would be happy with a point as long as we don’t concede late on.

One ray of hope is that Reid is a regular scorer against Harrogate so hope he gets a couple.

Agree... After saturdays shambles i was expecting abit of a mixup by nige.
At the moment it seems to be you can have as many bad games as you want and still stay in the first tram regardless.. Very little competition for places atm.

He doesn't have the composure or the final ball to be an effective attacking midfielder in my opinion.

He may develop it as he gets older but at the moment his final ball is more miss than hit.

Looking forward to seeing Law and hoping Sinclair gets a good 20 minutes as well.

On the right of the attacking midfield players I feel he will do fine there.

I'd imagine Law to be fairly nervous, so we may see some early jitters?

Anyone's audio a tiny bit ahead of the video? I knew Clarke had his shot saved before he'd even hit it
