Mansfield Town Football Club can confirm that academy manager Richard Cooper has been placed in temporary charge of first team affairs.
The 41-year-old will be assisted by under-18s’ lead player development coach Mike Whitlow, first team coach Jamie McGuire and academy coaches Sam Wilson and Sam Collins.
Furthermore, the club can confirm that assistant manager Joe Dunne, senior performance analyst Enda Barron and head of recruitment Andy Burgess have left the club.
The club places on record its thanks for their endeavours and wishes them well in the future.

Tbf I did look and there's a reel of him at crewe and he looks decent

He might look decent with a good manager in charge too. We will find out soon enough.

Credit to coops for already putting out a good attacking side with such few options available.
Few pundits weren't sure why GC stuck with 3 at the back
