Good signing. Bags of potential and highly-rated at Rovers. Well done to GC, Sharpe and Co.

Another undisclosed fee paid. Think GC wanted him in January but it didn't happen. He's finally got his man. Only 22 years old so great potential.

Good to get some pace at the back.

Sounds like he’ll slot in perfectly on the right side of the three.

Interesting to see if we’re still in for Prosser/Bostwick.

Mansfield Town have landed powerful defender Rollin Menayese from Bristol Rovers for an undisclosed fee.

The 22-year-old, who rejoins his former manager Graham Coughlan, has penned a two-year contract at One Call Stadium.

Schooled at Cardiff City as a youngster, the 6ft 3in defender has captained Wales’ under 16s as well as The Bluebirds’ under-18s.

After a spell at Weston-super-Mare (EDIT), his talents were spotted by Bristol Rovers, for whom he made his league debut in October 2017 in a 6-0 victory away at Northampton Town.

Loan spells at Swindon and Aldershot then followed, before he returned to the Memorial Ground to establish himself in the first team, appearing on 23 occasions last season.

Manager Graham Coughlan said: “Rollin is a centre half who we have worked with before. We feel he can make us stronger and hopefully become a big player at Mansfield.

“We have a development project on our hands with Rollin. He wants to push his career to the next level, and he can do that with us here at Mansfield.

“He’s a right-footed centre-half who is big, strong and quick. He’s a powerful, no-nonsense defender.”
Endeavoring to persevere since 1965 (8-1 home win against QPR)

Don't know much about him but he sounds like another quality addition.
It feel like it's a better defence already; experience, youthfulness, pace and height.

Menayese - Rawson - Sweeney centre back trio

Will probably need another two options at centre back, Rhys Bennett would be perfect cover for RCB as well as for RB/RWB (although I’d probably prefer him at RWB to Riley)

Welcome Rollin.

Some good signings this season. Can't help but feel we are benefitting from the current situation a tad. Either way though, you can only play the hand you're given.

quick read on their forum suggests its a good deal for both parties.

Raw at the moment, but bags of potential. Looking forward to this one!

Looks like a good acquisition.

I hope that there’s a Rawhide song produced soon.

Hardly a raid. Bristol Rovers have signed two experienced centre halves and he's now surplus to requirements :D
