overall impression: I thought the phone-in was well-organised, giving plenty of callers time to make their point, and Dempster pretty much answered everything I think.

He seems a decent bloke, I don’t think anyone has ever called that into question. Nice of him to take time out to do something he didn’t have to. Of course, ultimately it will be down to what happens on the pitch.

Disappointing that none of the questions pressed him into talking about tactics, football philosophy, and general intricacies that would give us insight into exactly how he thinks he’s going to turn this season around.

Fair play to him for going on the radio and answering fans questions.

The best way to appease the fans is to start winning games, especially at home.

It was good of JD to do this and I think he came across as genuine, which I think most of us expected. However, as harsh as it sounds, I'm no more confident in him for having done this. He didn't say anything that filled me with any hope or expectation that he can fix this.

I think that if promotion is a serious ambition, we need a change of manager this season and then a clearing of the decks in the summer with a few moved on and 4 or 5 quality additions that will improve the first eleven. So disappointed with how this season is panning out.
