Morecambe (again) tomorrow evening, hoping for a good cup run this year.
2-0 Mansfield with goals from Cook & Gordon.
1,800 in attendance with 18 from Morecambe.

If we can start like we did in the second half (minus the red) then we'll start to win some games. Much better start required than Saturday. I'll go for 2-0 too

I've been looking for this for two weeks as I'd flung it to one side in disgust in May. T'was at the back of t'sock drawer.

Finally come round to my way of thinking regarding the score line? Predicting two nil wins isn’t for the faint hearted.
Two nil to the yellows with goals from Khan and Benning.
Will you be at the game Mr Forest Town???

I would expect a few changes.
Stone
Gibbens Preston sweeney
White CJ
Donohue Macca
Smith
Cook Graham.
Preston is suspended in the league not cups. So may as well play him. Sweeney could do with a runout. A decent cup run would have been nice but league is highest priority.

There’s a difference with my prediction, I won’t be having £5 on it! I think I will venture down yes.

Both teams to send out a reserve team and it’ll be a completely different game. I’m going 2-1 Stags.

I think both Preston and Mellis are both suspended
6.2.1 in the case of a League Club, one who would be registered and eligible to participate in a League Competition match commencing at the same time and on the same date as the Competition match in accordance with the provisions of League Regulations; Reading that rule from the EFL it looks like they are suspended.

no. Carabao cup games and FA cup games are not available to watch on iFollow, either for UK viewers or overseas viewers.

Would expect him to rest Bishop - one advantage of the league cup is that I guess it counts as a game for the bans for Mellis and Preston

Team IF the suspended players can play (if not players in brackets to replace them)
Stone
White/Gordon Preston/White Pearce Sweeney Benning
Donohue Mellis/Tominson?
Khan
Cook Rose
The defence needs as many minutes together as possible after how shambolic they have looked so far, Would like to see Cook and Rose play together too as I dont think they have been tried.

Mellis is definitely suspended until a home league game against Leyton Orient. Preston won't be available until a home league game against Stevenage.

I think, whilst the team will change, we should be using tomorrow's game as a bit of continuation of pre-season so to address some of the issues we've seen in the first 2 game.

reminder of the above. We will have commentary of course on iFollow this evening.
Also note there is no extra time. If level at 90 minutes, goes straight to penalties.

The suspension thing is premier league teams. Stop them using round 3 vs minnows to lower a players ban who probably wouldn't play in that game anyway.
I'd expect Sweeney, White, Donohue and Cook to definitely start. We may even get a 3-5-2 with Clarke, who looked a good prospect pre season, to get a start and have White partnering Sweeney and Pearce/Gibbens in a back 3.

Let’s hope you go through and get a decent tie...West Brom away last season was one of the best performances entertainment wise and quality that I have seen for years.

How's that lot lining up then?
CJ already played every position DF started him and he got slated.

Logan;
White, Pearce, Sweeney;
Gordon, Donohue, Smith, Khan, Benning;
Cook, Hamilton.
I got the 5 changes right in my prediction on Saturday, but I thought Stone would start as well.
Good to see Tyrese Sinclair on the bench.
