He'll not be at Florist as they seem to be making two signings a day under the new manager.

Id launch a bid for him... Forest manager might think yeah great 300/400K for a young lad..
But happy with the two we've got and can see him being average to ok in league one and ending up a seasoned league two player one day anyway and hopefully we'll be an established league one team by then

Not sure we need him now, we could do with a young quick striker on loan from a prem/champ club. We've not really got any quick strikers.

CJ will be playing more up front this season for sure.
Especially with Donahue there to cover Mal.
CJ and Maynard either side of Cook.
These are my opinions , if you don't like them I have others...

Not sure Maynard is a wide man.

A front 3 doesn't necessarily mean 2 wide men.

Haha, it's just a fact, unless they#'re all going to stand in a straight line.
I don't think we'll be playing with three out and out strikers anyway.

Don't rule out OSJ for the quick striker role. I think he will play a much bigger part this season

I wouldn't get carried away based on pre-season, he's probably trying 50% harder than the others.

Nothing to do with pre season. I've always thought he could develop into a handy player if played in the right way. He has pace and a reasonable shot on him, just needs to let other players have the ball sometimes and learn to play 1-2's.

You may be right, and I hope you are but I’m not so sure. He’s 25 now, he’s had plenty of time to develop.

Player like OSJ in the past have come with promise, not delivered, had a few loans, then left. There's got to be a reason he is still here and getting the opportunities. Those 'who know' obviously think there is something there and this may be the season for him. He does seem to have developed physically from the highlights I've seen.

The only reason OSJ is still here is that Steve Evans gave him a two year contract extension just before he left.
