Can a CEO work from abroad ?, if not i wonder if this position will require filling, not a problem owning from a far, however it’s the CEO bit that i would think will be tricky

Just because you don’t have the internet, video conferencing, airports etc in Yorkshire doesn’t mean that they don’t have it in Portugal!

Christ almighty. Can’t we just have one thread where we question and discuss all of the different roles, jobs and staff at the club. Maybe we can have a scoring system in place where fans, who are clearly experts on each role, can score staff based on their suitability and ability to do their job.

Blunt answer, where there is a COO then you have got someone in place to carry out delegated tasks. Emails, phone calls and facetiming remove the need for face to face meetings especially when there is someone in place at the club to do her bidding.
What I do think wonder is whether the lack of innovation in pricing for juniors is one of the victims of this arrangement but they are getting so much right at the moment you can only argue that it does work.

I think our current CEO (and Chairman) are doing a great job. I don't think it matters that they spend time abroad if they are keeping in constant contact with the directors & managers. The fact that they care so much about the club is the critical factor.
