Reading their forum and other clubs forums, their running power in/from midfield is their strength.

So in my controversial opinion we should drop Swan, pack the midfield and go one up top with DKD in behind.
So if all are available but I doubt sadly Cargill will be, I'd go.

Pym

McLaughlin
Brunt
Flint
Bowery

Quinn
Reed
Maris
Clarke

DKD

Akins

If Maris is not back yet then Lewis on right and Clarke inside.

No Boateng please against a lively midfield.

Surely Clarke will start after being left out against Colchester….I’d take your arm off if offered a point now…. on a bus from Oswestry where the hotels were significantly cheaper than Wrexham….which puts are the Stags fans drinking in?

If we can somehow just get a win today, I think we’ll basically be up. Win and we’d be 6 points above Wrexham with six games to play each. Due to our much superior GD, Wrexham would have to get 7 more points than us over the last six games than us to finish above us. Not happening.

Good luck to all Staggies traveling today. Bring back 3 points. This is the first away league game the Grumpy Old Men have missed this season

I’d definitely be starting Ollie Clarke and George Maris if George feels up to it.I wouldn’t start Lewis to lightweight, especially if there midfields there strength which some people have said.Anyway hopefully we come away with a point or even all 3 we’re certainly good enough.

Big call with the fullbacks when we are going to have to do a lot of defending.

Hewitt is the best right back, by some distance, at the club, I think its a good call.

The thought process will be behind the fact we are going to have to do a lot of defending. Hewitt and Bowery are both more capable defenders than McLaughlin. As great as he is getting forward, defensively he is poor. Clough will know how fit Hewitt is and if he thinks he’s fit enough then I think it’s the correct decision.

First game in 9 month. Big ask to be up to speed away at Wrexham. Home to Accrington would be an easier way to ease him in. Callum Johnson the best right back by the way.

Callum Johnson is an OK right back, Hewitt is far better imo.

I don't rate Lewis, I sincerely hope he proves me wrong today.

I have every faith in Nigel to pick the best eleven to get something out of this game. A fit and up to speed Hewitt is far and above the best right back/wing back at the club and if Nigel thinks he’s ready, that will do for me.

A competitive lineup with plenty on the bench. Here’s hoping for a good result.

Hewitt is a surprise. Although he's a great player and worthy of consideration, he can't be match fit.

He absolutely isn't, I'm not even sure I'd keep him next season, but if we do he'd be a back up.

It's a good call from Cloughie.

I expect Hewitt to be sharing the 90 with Macca. Bowery to swap sode to accommodate the change.

No way of knowing if Johnson is any good or not as he never gets a run of games on account of being made of glass.

Amazing to see Hewitt back. Bit of a high pressure match but Clough knows if he's ready.

Come on lads give us a winning return.

Hewitt is the biggest call of the season Can't be match fit. Not played this season. Coming back from serious injury. Is he the same player? Didn't come on at all in the last game. But shows the problems we have with injuries to defenders.

He doesn’t trust Macca defensively, simple as that. He must feel his days are numbered. I wouldn’t have minded Macca playing in midfield if Quinn isn’t playing.

Lewis played full back/wing back for Newport.

We have options.

Hewitt currently down after being wiped out.
