I can stand in an actual standing area, but only for a short while in a "seating" section, and it appears that stadiums have moved to a "standing in front of seats" model, if the attendance is likely to be near capacity. I find that too exhausting these days, and if I'm looking forward to watching a match but I have to rely on luck to get to see anything, I'd rather not risk it. It's the first season where I've avoided all away matches, as it's hard to predict whether the fans in front will allow anyone behind them to sit. Last season, almost all away matches I attended were just annoying.

Does anyone know whether seats are likely to be available? As in, does MK have a sitting-only zone for those who want to just watch the match?

Sit on the front row of the top tier as Cranium says and you’ll be fine

They won’t have a sitting zone and as you say the whole end would be standing id expect.

Thanks for the advice. I'll see if suitable tickets are available.

What's the difference between standing on a terrace and standing in front of a seat? I'm not being facetious, I genuinely don't understand.

The person behind you in the seats may mobility issues and can't see sod all if the feller in front is stood up.

I didn't mean that Sneag, I understand we should all be respectful of others (in an ideal world have a standing and a seating section).

I was referring to Bradders comment of him being able to stand up on a terrace but not being able to stand up in a stand with seats.

It's the seat across the back of the knees & the wierd angle you end up standing at.

Yep, all that. Plus if it's a standing terrace you can move around to a better area, and stretch your legs a bit. Standing - seating areas leave you trapped in a confined space. They are usually cramped to sit in, let alone stand. I'm a similar size to Flint...
Obviously they were designed for cramped sitting, not standing. Suits most people, but I find it very uncomfortable. I suspect that not many people complain, they just stop going.

Well I’ve had a glitch on the ticket site where it thinks mine were assigned before it timed out, gone back in and it still thinks they’ve been assigned (in a sale) so can’t purchase. And no support available from the club thanks to selling at ridiculous times

No but if you’re not a senior season ticket holder it won’t let you buy one on line

I'm 62 and a season ticket holder and it does allow you to buy a senior when the away ticket is 60+
