Could the game be in doubt due to the rain.

Start the same 11 that started against Harrogate, except Williams in for Bowery.

Will be tough as others have said. The away game was a pretty even one, and they have improved since.

Important to bounce back quickly from the defeat at Walsall. Feel like one of the top 5 is bound to hit a patch of form between now and the end of the season that see’s them drop out of the pack a bit - don’t let it be us!

Expecting a difficult game, but they’ll be thinking the same. Every win feels massive now

That big lad up front Smith will have to be watched at set pieces, score draw for me

He will want to peel on to Brunt throughout. Brunt has a decent leap but isn’t the strongest and Smith has been around the block. I wonder whether we could see us revert back to Cargill partnering Flint on Saturday? That pairing still gives us the most solidity in my opinion.

Seems a strange one. Robinson usually has Craig Short as his number 2. Is he part of his backroom staff already? I wonder if it’s the Utd old boys giving Alex a leg up?

Saturday's referee is Craig hicks.

He has mostly been reffing in League one this season (with 4 league 2 games - none for us)

He has reffed us before:

last season his only game for us was the 2-2 draw at home to Hartlepool
Martin rated him "7 Handled the game well. The officials got the disallowed goal right."

He also reffed us for 1 game in the previous season a 0-0 home draw with Oldham
Martin's rating: "5 One big decision in the game and he got it wrong in my opinion, when the Stags should have had a penalty. One good advantage played."

We then need to go back to 18/19 season for his next game a 1-0 home win against Cambridge
Martin rated him: "7 Got most of the decisions right I think."

In 17/18 he reffed our 1-1 draw away to Barnet
Martin rated him: "6 Should have booked Santos for barging Hemmings into the advertising hoarding. Otherwise not a bad game."

That's it. We are undefeated with this ref but mostly draws.

Hopefully we stick Flinty on Matt Smith from the outset this time, not giving him a whole 45 minutes to dominate us aerially and nab a goal.

It was ridiculous in the away game that we could all see their plan after a few minutes and we needed half-time to sort it out.

It's certainly been tipping down for most of the last 36 hours. Hopefully the next 48 will be dry.

Will be another sticky wicket.

Just getting the...
"Strange team selection by Clough, not sure what XXXXXX has done wrong to not be selected. Don't know why he's playing Bowery at the back again when Williams is a natural defender. Reckon he should be starting with Swan & Nicholls personally, Akins looks knackered" early. To save others posting it later :D

This. I would play Cargill centre half with Flint. Macca left back. Williams right back.
I'd also play DKD up front with Nichols but can't see that one happening.

Maris has taken knocks recently.

Could see brunt replace him in midfield. Bowery to LB and Williams in at RB. Cargill at CB obviously.
