North Stand tickets/ all 5 remaining home games

Postby MansfieldMick » Mon Mar 11, 2024 1:39 pm

Just had a look at ticket information for this game as I can't really see many travelling up from Essex and no NS tickets are currently available. Surely as this is our next home game we should be encouraging a sellout as most home games will now be I imagine, so why are we not advertising the NS for this game and putting them on sale now rather than the week/day before? Crawley and Accrington tickets also available but not for the NS.

Agreed.

Can’t see Colchester, Crawley, Accrington, or FGR bringing more than 500. Let’s get the North Stand on sale for these early doors so people can get tickets when they want them.

Currently in a position where we aren’t sold out, have extra capacity ready to go, but if you go on stagstickets now you can’t get 2 tickets next to each other. People will be looking and thinking it’s too late. By the time it gets to Friday and tickets are available again you may have missed out on the trade. We need to do what we can to be filling the place and making it easy to do so

They won't bring 500 between them.

What was the reason it wasn’t for Saturday given all the Swindon fans were in the far corner anyway

Swindon were predicted to bring 600 to 700 but only brought 400.

Our ticket office can't even collate what seats are needed in A,J and H block until a day before tickets go off sale, never mind getting North stand tickets on sale early.

Exactly, why do they struggle with common sense so much when it comes to ticketing.

The people in charge of the ticketing are employees and not die hard fans of the club. Die hards can predict and foresee issues due to their investment in the club. Ask a die hard to guess likely away support in our remaining home games and they would be very accurate. They would instantly allocate half the North Stand to Stags fans for all our remaining home games and do it way in advance. Club employees probably not so and probably don't care enough to be pre-emptive.

Excellent, surprised about Gillingham as they’ve actually got something to play for and tend to travel quite well!

Now time for 5 full houses for the final run in!

As others have said, make it all ticket for all remaining games and everyone’s a winner.

Just had a look and about 250 tickets already sold in NS for this Saturday, can see it being a sell out with 5 days of selling still to go. Be fantastic if the game was a sell out AND on TV too.
If you know anyone still wanting a ticket I would seriously recommend they get one ASAP to avoid disappointment.

I'm assuming the ugly hand of SAG is still at play here. I can see the North Stand selling out and wonder why we need 2 whole blocks covered and unused between home and away fans, when 14 miles up the road at Florist its 3 rows?

As it is at many Premier league venues, Tottenham, Arsenal and Man city spring to mind.

Went to the club on Monday to ask if tickets for A and J blocks were going to be released as west stand was sold out online.

I was told definately not for this game. They seem to make it up as they go along.

How can they say definitely not at a point where they don't know how many tickets they are going to shift?
