Still need a 20 a season goal scorer dont we…

DKD on 15 so he should make 20 you would have thought, I still think Swan could bag that many during a full season, very good for this league.

Back to back wins, back to back clean sheets just what we needed :)

A very good day for us
:coys:

PS - FGR played some very good football today and put us under the cosh for what seemed long periods of the game, 1-1 at H/T would have been fair, 0-4 is harsh.

It was a good rounded display. FGR forced us to earn the right to thump them, and the Stags obliged.

Fair play to him, played very well down the right...

I'm not particularly fond of Akins either when he's in the starting line up, but he always performs when coming on as a sub. Wonder if that's him knowing he doesn't have to pace himself to last a full 90?

I’m a big fan of Akins but he needed a rest. I don’t think we depend on any one player.

He was great when he came on .

I like Akins but he’s been overplayed as we didn’t have another player like him. Hopefully Nichols can now share some of the burden and let Akins have a break.

I’m glad Swan is starting to come good this season. Very encouraging from him these last few games. It’s a strong attacking front 3 with everyone on form. Hopefully we are over our little blip now and can go on a run and nail that automatic spot. I can see Stockport getting promoted early and then taking their foot off the gas, leaving us a chance to pip them to the title.

Lucas Akins was tremendous today when he came on as a sub. He destroyed the FGR defence and got two assists. It should have been three assists but Hiram Boateng blasted one over the bar that Lucas put on a plate for him.

yes, he wasn't very happy with me and the commentary of the second goal. Just having to mute some choice language from him in the goals video.

I think it's too late for them now, but with Dale Vince and his money, they will likely build a squad capable of smashing the National League next year because it is so lacklustre and poor. They wouldn't need much if they can keep a lot of that squad together.

If they kept Doidge down there, he'd score boat loads.

I can see them picking up more points. I can see them having a real go at it.

It's not out of the realms of possibility that they can stay up. There are 16 games left, 48 points, they just need 10 more points than 3 sides down there.

They can start gaining those points on Tuesday when they travel to Barrow.

I don’t think there defence is good enough to survive, we could have had 6 or 7 without really playing to well.

They do have a game in hand against Col U, but unfortunately for them it's away against a team that just beat them 4-0 on their own patch.

True, I don't think they will survive, I just meant they would have better go at it than they had before Cotterill joined.

If someone had asked me a year ago if I'd prefer to sign Flint or Keogh I'd probably have picked Keogh. I'd have been badly wrong.

I'm not sure he's going to be the signing they think he is.

Thought he was pretty poor yesterday at fault for at least Swans goal and looked unbelievably slow. Perhaps down to lack of games but more likely time has caught up with him.

Remember we've got no pace in our side according to most on here as well.

I was surprised Keogh started, I thought that was a mistake. As for our pace, we don't have anyone with real pace, but we don't have anyone slow either. There were a couple of occasions yesterday when the game was tight when a bit more pace would have been handy, I think if we go up it's something we need to look at.

FGR are probably too far behind now but would absolutely stroll the Conference if they keep the side together.

What’s classed as a successful cross? Surely a cross coming in being headed down by Flint for Clarke to score is successful?!
