Chris Wilder taking a leaf out of Nige's book... He'll get a misconduct charge too no doubt.

'Hopefully he enjoyed his sandwich while he was talking to a Premier League manager'
I backed my car into a cop car the other day, he just drove off, sometimes life's okay...

Me too. I thought he was shocking.

Naaahhhh
George Courtney away v Chester in Area Final 2nd Leg in 87.
Now that was diabolical !

That challenge on Paul Garner was nothing short of an assault that night.

When it comes down to a shocking refereeing performance though, I struggle to see past Darren Drysdale in MK Dons match. A referee with such a high opinion of himself he even arrived driving a car that included his initials on his number plate.

And for me, Charles Breakspear at Newport in the first leg of the playoff semifinals in 2019. By the way, I was able to watch that game over here and therefore am I definitely able to comment on the performance of Mr Breakspear, whom we have only had once since then, at Walsall on New Year's Day 2023. We haven't had Darren Drysdale since the Stevenage home game at the very end of the 2018-19 season.

Referee assessments are carried out by computer software. Horizon, from Fujitsu, solid as a rock.

Will this be served immediately against County or next week?

It would be twice as bad if he misses the game tomorrow.

a manager suspended from the touchline has to sit in the directors’ box during the match.

The punishment centres around not being able to communicate directly with players during a match. The manager can give a pre-match team talk as usual, they can be in the dressing room at half-time, and they can discretely pass on information for their assistants to relay during the game. But direct communication is forbidden.

“The participant may use a communication device to give instructions to the occupants of the technical area.”

Managers can, if they wish, partake in their usual pre- and post-match media duties, although they will not be able to do a touchline interview as the suspension includes not being allowed to be pitchside or on the pitch before and after matches too (including for two hours afterwards).

Clough will take a 1 game ban and a small fine.

It would be easy to use the injustice of it all to really fire the players up.

Let's just hope we done get too fired up and we get reckless and start deserving red cards.

Since the invention of the mobile phone these touch line bans are all a bit pointless.
Facts do not cease to exist because they are ignored.

He will actually get a better view of the dynamics of the game as he will be seeing the whole pitch from an elevated position. Ok he won’t be able to call players over for instructions but as said above, mobile phones make that part much easier.

Even more important now that we have Flint on the pitch for leadership.

Get all the bans at the same time then run a lottery to see who gets to sit in the dug out.

Should instead be a one-month ban or two months demotion to National League North or South for the officials at the AFC Wimbledon away game
with no appeal possible.

I don't think that it will be a big disadvantage. It may also help with the players' siege mentality, feeling that they have to do more than most teams because of the notorious MTFC bad luck, and the officials seeing us as targets for their frustrations.

Has he not watched a the first 45 from the stand the last few home games. Plus we wont have enough players to have a bench so no subs to make.
