More people attended Stags game against Crewe than any of the five games in the league above!

But how many went home happy?

I think you meant had tickets rather than attend.
Those accustomed to privilege may feel that equality is oppression.

The change of title has rendered this thread even less interesting. All sense of intrigue has been removed.
For people who like interesting things, can I recommend 'The Dull Men's Club' of Facebook. There was a whole long debate on their yesterday around if the A614 was the dullest road in England.

More than that, there's quite a lot of Stags fans happy because we have NC in charge, in fact they would still be happy in we missed out on promotion again as long as NC is in charge

I saw that
- basically a conversion about how it goes nowhere near anywhere interesting or something
It's home that will be the difference between promotion or not as it stands! Great numbers, sadly not necessarily being rewarded lately.

Given where we were before him - either the form under Coughlan or the circus under Evans - yes i Imagine that the vast majority of fans would be overjoyed to have him as manager, or with what we've achieved under him, or that we're 2nd in the league.
The numbers coming to watch football while he's been manager speaks volumes.

The line was about how many went home happy. At 4.50 I doubt many of even the most ardent of NC fans were thinking of anything but a first home loss, a generally poor performance in front of goal and a missed chance to go top.

Even more interesting is that Bradford and Swindon had higher attendances than us
