I don’t have a season ticket and can only make about a dozen home games a season so I have just about given up seeing a home match unless I can get one in the North Stand

Could we switch the game to Meadow Lane. We might have a better chance of beating them.

Professional club run by amateurs. Ticketing system almost sorted, but held back by the Sunday league way we sell tickets. God help us if we ever get 3 stands full.

If you're a Season Ticket holder and can't make the match, let the ticket office know and they can re sell it.
Alternatively pass it onto a mate or if it's a different priced ticket ,the ticket office can amend it and charge the difference.
Should be absolutely no reason to have empty seats.

I'm yet to come across a Sunday league side where you can buy tickets from the comfort of your armchair, in fact I'm yet to come across a Sunday league side that have to sell tickets

Seems professional enough to me but I'm not looking for a reason to criticise the club.

Which bit of the almost sorted ticketing system is Sunday league?

The gradual releasing of seats in various blocks in the Ian Greaves that are not available to buy online. Kind of defeats an online ticketing system. (which also puts non local fans at a disadvantage)
The late notice on all ticket games.
Both cleverly designed obstacles to put people off attending.

So the internet only works if you are local, and making it all ticket so they can sell more tickets puts people off attending?

We are rapidly approaching the time when a loyalty scheme is required. We only have 1700 seats for home fans to purchase. Purchase history needs to be recorded so a priority system can be formulated. Without this it allows non Stags fans the chance to buy in the home ends. County could have 100 or so fans scattered about in the home ends. We had no chance of buying tickets for the home ends at Meadow Lane because they were organised and not Sunday League to quote a previous poster. Purchase history can be acquired for online, phone sale and collection tickets and is the fairest way to operate.

Some tickets are only available / released in some random fashion , to buy at the club itself and are not shown for sale online. A problem if you live in Plymouth etc.

Or alternatively, buy a ticket as soon as they go on sale online.
The club are never going to appease everyone, but at least they are trying.

Should be a system where ST holders can sell their seat back to the club for a figure arranged say £10, then the club re sell at full price, yes I can see issues around junior tickets etc but other clubs do it?

The next EMR rail strike is on sat 3rd Feb, the date of the County game. I hope Nottingham has got enough buses with wheelchair access for them all :D

You don't want my custom on the 3rd of Feb, but you do when the place isn't full.

Yep I understand.

That doesn’t read well tbh.

Appreciate the club has only limited options due to how the ground was built but still, at least try and provide and alternative or option.

It’s great the club is in this situation though, contradicting myself.

But in another breath we want the club to stretch to buy a championship striker… hospitality brings the money in
