Bradford’s fans filled the concourses, it’s just that they were on their way out… :D

Been looking at the remaining fixtures of the current top 4 and yes there will be swings & roundabouts but I believe if all goes well we need
14 more points to be champions
11 more points to go up in 3rd position
Wrexham v Stockport last day looks tasty
Stags 86 points
Wrexham 86 points
Stockport 84 points
MKD 82 points
If we pick up any bonus points at
Wrexham or MKD
Then the table will look different as I’ve picked the worst case scenario in those two matches

Current Table
PLD...W...D...L...PTS...PPG
.38...20..12..6....72...1.89

Required for 81 points
PLD...W...D...L...PTS...PPG
..8....3....0...5....9....1.13
..8....2....3...3....9....1.13
..8....1....6...1....9....1.13

Stags current PPG 1.89 would total 87 points over a season.

On course to be CHAMPIONS

Stags had 61 points after 38 games last season, so currently +11.

Stags points after 38 games in previous promotion seasons,
2001/02....69.....(finished 79)
1991/92....67.....(finished 77, only 42 games)
1985/86....72.....(finished 81)

Latest Title odds
Stags.........4/6
Stockport...13/8
Wrexham...10/1

MK Dons....50/1
Barrow.....250/1
Crewe......250/1

If all teams continued with their current PPG the table would finish as,
...................Points
1) Stags.........87
2) Stockport...86
3) Wrexham...81
--------------------
4) MK Dons....79
5) Crewe........77
6) Barrow.......76
7) Crawley......70
-------------------
8) Walsall.......68

If all teams continued with their current "FORM" PPG (Last 8/9/10 games) the table would finish as,
...................Points
1) Stags.........87
2) Stockport...83
3) MK Dons....80
-------------------
4) Wrexham...79
5) Crewe........77
6) Barrow.......73
7) Walsall.......73
-------------------
8) Crawley......71

Top of the League
Top Goalscorers
Best Defence
Best Away team

Stags have the most difficult run-in, with away games at,
Wrexham, MK Dons & Barrow.

To beat the predicted 81 points, due to Stags superior goal difference, other teams would most probable need 82 points.

This is what the other teams need to get to 82 points,

Stockport WIN 4 draw 2 lose 3
To play, MK Dons H, Wrexham A.

Wrexham WIN 5/8 or win 4 draw 3 lose 1
To play, Stags H, Crewe A, Stockport H.

MK Dons WIN 5/7 or win 4 draw 3 lose 0 (zero)
To play, Stockport A, Stags H.

Crewe WIN 6/8 or win 5 draw 3 lose 0 (zero)
To play, Wrexham H.

Barrow WIN 7/9 or win 6 draw 3 lose 0 (zero)
To play, Stags H.

I think it's looking extremely likely that a win at MK Dons will see us promoted now.

If we can get promoted there, 5000+ to travel down there again?

I am pretty confident that if we win the next 4 home games we will be over the line before we travel to MK.

Dont Wrexham have the best home league record in our division, I can see them beating us, but I'm hoping we can at least get a point there.
And I'm sure we wont win all 4 home league games, but at the same time, I'm also confident that the teams around us will also be dropping points.
What the table looks like on April 1st at 5pm will be very interesting...

MK Dons have the best overall home record: 43 points from 20 games, Wrexham have the best PPG record 42 points from 19 games. Fortunately we have the best away record.

I didn't say I was confident we would win all those 4 home games, but if we do I am pretty sure our promotion would then be a mathematical fact. ;)

With how things have gone this season, Colchester will sit back and we’ll struggle to break them down, ending in a disappointing 0-0 draw then we’ll travel to Wrexham and play them off the park

Me too but I don't see us winning all 4 home games. Would love to and just have a promotion party at MK...

You could well be right! It's the Mansfield Town way!
Colchester do like a draw, but draws are no longer going to keep them up with the way Forest Green and Sutton keep picking up the odd win.
An early goal for the Stags is crucial as that will change Colchester's game plan. As for Wrexham I just remember how they took us apart in the FA Cup, and am hoping the same doesn't happen again.

I think so too, that’ll mean that 3 of the other 4 teams below us all have to get to 82 points. It’s the ‘all’ that’s the main thing here. That’s 18 from 24 for Crewe, 15 from 21 for MK, 14 from 27 for Stockport, 15 from 24 for Wrexham. To get to 82 every team will have to get more points per game than they have over both the entire season so far, and the last 10 games (except Stockport), all at the same time as us getting far fewer points per game than any run of 8 games we've had this season.
One probably will, 2 might, but it’s hard to see 3 doing it. Especially as most of the 4 below us have 2 games against other Top 5 teams (3 for Wrexham, 1 for Crewe), so are going to knock points from each other, and most of their other games are against teams with something to play for. They have to win games, draws aren’t good enough for any of them.

You also have Barrow on 64 points with one game in hand on us and two games in hand on MK. If they win all their remaining games, they will finmish on 88 points but face long trips to Gillingham and Crawley during the run-in. Don't write them off yet but I think they will reach the playoffs.
