Absolute nonsense. I think it’s a big loss.
He was clearly well respected in the game and being smart, professional and articulate doesn’t make him arrogant.

I am sorry to hear that, he will be greatly missed.
Wasn't his first job to get the stadium scrubbed up ? Something he rolled his sleeves up and helped. Got on well with NC and the Radfords.
I hope we have a good replacement lined up.

I'm sure there are some members of this board who will be putting their CVs in with their knowledge of what needs to be done with regards to player recruitment, Bishop Street, catering, cash turnstiles etc etc

Led to believe it may be as part of the academy.

Really disappointed with this. David Sharpe had that bit of class about him and came across as a thoroughly decent and driven bloke - good luck to him.
However, I don't think that there's any big conspiracy that folk desperately need; just maybe he actually needs to concentrate on his family business? Sounds bizarre but perhaps take him for his word.
Carolyn Radford has proven to be a perfectly decent CEO before and can do a job again - just maybe she'll be even more driven after a spell on the sidelines?
Nothing to particularly worry about I'd imagine, just the disappointment of losing a good bloke who was doing a good job.
Supporting Mansfield Town isn't about the glory but the glamour

Compared with the season before his visibility last season was a lot less.
Maybe the clubs progression up the league, or lack of it, is something to do with it, one way or another.

Agree thought Sharpe added a good back room support for the club and well known in the game but nobody is bigger than the club itself apart from maybe JR
Sure Radfords have a plan B

I mean he has done some great things at this club, really brought us forward into recent times, the new club shop, the ticketing system, 5k ticket sales. Can’t really argue with what he’s done.

I do think he will be a bug loss to the club.
We have definitely moved forward as a club and as the head man he must be applauded for that.
However, what is done is done let’s see what the club announces in the coming days with regard to the new structure.
Now is not the time to stand still, we need to push on and make the most of the opportunities that lie before us.
Good luck David and thank you

Probably didn’t agree with the club going cashless !
All the best . Most certainly took the Club forward but not irreplaceable.

Think he's done a good, sound job. Probably a good opportunity for us to reevaluate and push on.

Id rather the Radfords show an interest again than have a CEO though personally.
But the Radford’s haven’t got a footballing brain.
How exactly has Sharpe got a better one ?

Remember that time that Carolyn went from an empowered and dignified CEO to flashing her breasts on the internet for likes? What a wild ride that was.

It is a shame that DS is leaving. He did a good job. He is replaceable and I’m sure that Carolyn can hold the fort - she did a good job at CEO level in helping us get back into the football league.
