Crewe have signed Republic of Ireland keeper Keiren Westwood (39) on a short-term contract. He has not played since a short-term deal at Queens Park Rangers in early 2022. He comes in as cover for Tommy Booth who suffered a punctured lung against Tranmere.

Tranmere Rovers have signed Senegalese midfielder Ousmane Kane (22) on a six-month deal with the option of a further 12 months. He had a trial spell with the club during September and October last year.
