Priestley Farquharson and Cameron Norman are out of contract at Newport but have been offered new deals. The former is a bit injury hit but a good player. Norman also decent.

Norman’s very good going forwards. Saw a stat today saying that he’s been fouled the most times out of everyone in league 2 this season.

Josh Emmanuel is someone else I’d love to take a look at. We do need a new right back for sure, can’t just have Johnson who can play there until Hewitt comes back post new years. To be fair, I can see Clough skimping somewhat this summer when it pertains to right back due to already having CJ and an injured Hewitt. Perhaps one of the centre backs we sign will also be capable at right back too.

I assume he played for Clough and lives local, he's a fit lad and am sure he has one more season in him, would be very good at League 2 level. If we did get someone like that it would be great for him to play alongside Alfie and other younger centre backs, they'd learn so much, a bit like Calderwood did playing alongside George. Overall though we do need to reduce the overall age of the squad and bring in some pace, Davies doesn't tick those boxes of course, but nevertheless I think he'd be a great signing.
