Sadly not true.

Highly unlikely to be back next season, only chance is if we go up.

Don’t take it to heart Pear. We’ve all fallen for stories on the 1st of April at some point or another.

My nephew took his kids to see the crocodile in the Erewash canal on Saturday and still thought it must have swum away before they got there.

It’s not the end of the world.

But corroborated by someone who actually works at Forest

Anything could change as we know and I'd love him to sign but we would have to go up to have a chance.

funnily enough, I have in the last 15mins seen Swan and Clough in the car park whilst picking up my ticket for Swindon lol. Swan in his tracksuit, Clough just coming from training by the looks of it.

hopefully talking contracts :D

I'm with Belly regards this, I'm rooting for you Pear. No reason why we couldn't sign a Forest Town lad who is so far down the pecking order at his club that they'd have to send the miners rescue in to find him.

It was the player sponsors meal today so nothing more to it than that. I had a chat with Will in there and he said he is not far off a return and doing well.

I cannot believe the players Forest have if they get relegated i fear for their future the owners losing a lot of money.
Swan a squad player for us and tied to Forest until the summer of 2024.
Possible transfer fee involved and higher wages than Mansfield prepared to pay, if i was Forest i would be looking for most of his wages to be covered.
Maybe if his contract run out in 2023 and we could afford his salary so im with only if we got promotion possible loan

When I was a kid my grandad told me he used to be the best crocodile hunter in Mansfield . When I said there are no crocodiles in Mansfield he spent hours telling me how good he was at his job . Believed him for years

If we stay down why wouldn't Swan consider returning. This season he was not a regular starter in Division 2. Next season he could be and should be but would he really make Division 1?

I can't seeing him playing before the end of the season unless our season is done early or we have more injuries, he won't be anywhere near match fit - I suppose he could make it off the bench though if we need something different.

Rather him off the bench injured than DJ. At least Swan will give it 100%

The time for protecting players has long gone! We need results now. If you're fit to play you play

At that 20 minutes Macca lasted in a 1-0 loss was really worth it.

If you're injured you aren't fit to play. If you've recovered fully then you're fit to play.

Who could possibly have known he'd get a new injury that had nothing to do with his previous one? It was just bad luck. To follow your logic means we'd probably not play any of our recovering players until next season ;) I'll say again, if fit our best players must play, we're bang average without them.
