I'm not sure the numbers correlate to numbers sold. I bought 422 and 528 in the same transaction!

Do we not get the pub underneath the away end anymore, think it's called Scotty's Bar? It seems the away allocation is lower than usual. I usually enjoy having a half time pint in what feels like a proper little pub!

Edit: It might not be a reduced allocation actually. I always thought we took loads to Grimsby but looking at our last few games we actually travel quite poorly there for some reason. This will be our biggest following there for years.

We took 681 last time, according to Martin’s report. There was a pub of sorts there - if I remember correctly it had a lot of away shirts behind the bar.

(The best away bar has to be the new one at Newport).

Saw they went on sale, but actually reluctant to go with it being a local one.

Normally bring my lad with me, but I think this one will bring out a lot of the idiotic element which has put me off.

Says something when you'd sooner make the effort to go to Swindon instead as I expect there to be no trouble at all there....and far more likely to get a footballing lesson as well.

Looks like they're sold out already. I've tried to add 1 ticket to the basket and I get

"There is no inventory available - this means the last few items are being purchased."

Thanks for the notice MTFC, Some people don't check socials or forums on the afternoon of sale when they're at work.

They announced it on Monday but I agree with your point. They should give a few days notice of tickets going on sale.
I totally missed the announcement of Bradford tickets and would have not been able to go to my nearest match if I hadn’t got one of the second allocation.

If you don't check how do you expect the club to notify you?

That was the last league visit. Great stoppage time winner in that match.

The last visit was in September we took 144 to the Papa John's match and lost 2-0.

Seems a bit strange to get that figure.

https://footballgroundguide.com/leagues ... -town.html

Away fans are located in one corner of the Osmond Stand, at one end of the ground, where just under 600 supporters can be accommodated. For teams with a larger following then the whole of the stand can be given to away fans increasing the allocation to 2,200. One downside of this stand is that there are a number of supporting pillars which could impede your view of the game. Blundell Park is a rather small ground and sometimes gets over criticised by visiting fans. But there is normally always a passionate crowd, which contributes to a good atmosphere. Remember though to wrap up warm as there can be a biting wind coming off the North Sea.

The 600 now is used for home fans and we get the rest of the end behind the goal less the separation area/seats. So only 1237.

Grimsby junior ticket

Postby NEStag » Tue Apr 04, 2023 11:00 am

I’ve got a spare Grimsby junior ticket if anyone wants it.
You might be able to convert it to an adult’s but you’d have to speak to the club or Grimsby.
I can drop off at Swindon or put it in the post.
Drop me a DM if you want it.
