It’s not effort we’re lacking, it’s quality and ideas.

The leaders are 16 points ahead of us and out of sight.

If I was Clough I would have lost patience with Danny Johnson and Boateng, they are passengers and offer nothing to the cause

Real leaders don't act like arseholes & get pointless suspensions.

Hilarious. We’re not doing badly because of a lack of leadership or effort. We just have a lot of players who possess little quality on the ball. Too many players play regularly for us who aren’t good enough to be playing regularly for a team that wants to get promoted from this division. Our fans would be happy with 11 Jamie McGuire’s on the pitch

Why would anybody want to play for negative Nobby. First bad performance he'll stab you in the back, and then expect you to give 100% in the next.

What else would you do at the minute? Who would you replace nigel with Al?

At least their manager with all his shouting looked energised and supportive of his team.

Clough looked clueless, like he wanted to be somewhere else or knows something about his contract that we don't.

What on earth do they actually do in training during the week???

Anyone who can get the team playing for him. Do you think they looked like following him into battle today??

I don't think battling was the problem Chris. It was the complete lack of quality. Hewitt played with a broken nose i would suggest that implies comittment. However, that does not escape from a complete lack of quality, a consequence mainly of injuries but also wrong decisions again and again in and around the box

Does is always start with the manager though? let’s play this back.

leaders are traditionally seen in midfield.

We had stephen quinn who decided to play the village idiot last week and get the straight red against northampton, something i hope he got fined the maximum for.

We’ve got boateng, who continues to play the role of a fraud, the lads embarrassing - but let’s be honest given his pre season who saw this coming.

Now these 2 should be playing the leader role and have played it abysmally of late, tell me how that’s cloughs fault?

(I’m only playing devils advocate and don’t believe clough has done enough the last few games) but those instances clearly aren’t his fault or doing.

Even if we did get rid of him, who would come in better, i’d keep him either way)

I’d be doing everything to try and get Karl Robinson in. He’s had two playoff finishes with MK Dons, a promotion to the Championship with MK, and before this season, the last three seasons with Oxford in league 1 he’s finished 4th, 6th and 8th. He also has a very clear brand of football (something that we really lack under Clough). I can see Robinson going to Tranmere possibly however, especially with him being from that area.

At the end of the day, we might need a better manager than Clough to get us promoted.
