That's because week in week out since January he has proven a massive disappointment and not delivered at all and his constant unmerited inclusion has alienated fans and caused disruption to the team

And now people will say this doesn’t count as it’s against U21s!

Agreed - if he can, play to his potential then he has so much to add to the squad

Nobody wants him to fail, he’s just been terrible since coming.

Hopefully a few goals can kick him on to better performances.

I think he is looking better against a team of ball players. His first touch is better but maybe he’s not expecting to get closed down so quickly and isn’t panicking as much.

Hopefully this game will boost his confidence and settle him down somewhat and he can kick on.

But to me the point is that he hasn't been terrible. He is ungainly and his touch can be iffy but he has, at times, added more than those slating him claim

I would take opinions but would not accept that my expectations are lower than many of those who have been slating him

I've been one of his biggest critics' but really am genuinely pleased for him tonight, played well.
Let's hope it is a sign of things to come...

This post about one of our players reminds me of similar posts about Jordan Bowery calling him derogatory things like A CONE etc... totally uncalled for and the majority have never kicked a football in their life never mind ever achieving any kind of sporting fitness . Supporting a team is also about supporting each member of that team...
