I sense a win. New signings all playing in front of a full house. 2-0 I say.

Sorry thought it was still Tuesday today
Anyway, the Crewe match felt like a defeat.

I think we'll win. New signings hopefully to feature and Clarke back would be good too, we've missed his bite in midfield.
At least there's no tomlin diving about for pens

I agree with your DJ comment. I hope your score prediction is incorrect.

It's gonna be tough. I have a bad feeling about Saturday.

What's a win?
You've got to go there and come back, to know where you've been.

He has to play Clarke with Maris out suspended. That of course, means he won't.

He doesn't have to though does he ?
He could play Reed.
These are my opinions , if you don't like them I have others...

I’d go;
…………………………Pym……………………..
Johnson… Hewitt…Kilgour….Macca
……………………….Reed……………………..
…………..Clarke ………….Quinn…………
…………………….Boateng…………………..
……………Swan ………. Oates……………
Not totally against Akins playing up top though.
Hopefully Clarke deemed fit enough to start. Could do with his energy in midfield. If he’s not then forget the above.

That’s the side I would like to see, with possibly Jason Law in for Boateng.

It depends which Boateng we get. He has been excellent for up to 60 minutes and then just disappears

I’ll be interested to see if Wallace gets another start after his good performance against Crewe.

I think he’s been better GFB but I wouldn’t go as far as excellent. There’s no doubting he’s a quality player but he does go missing for large spells. His injury couldn’t have come at a worse time, he and Hartigan were both playing well before their injuries (Hartigan original injury).
I’d certainly like to see Law given a chance, I don’t recall him playing badly when he has been given a rare opportunity , the opposite in fact he always looks like he can impact the game.

Agreed (I should have qualified it quite a bit
) I think he has been excellent in the first half of the last two games. That said, I am frustrated by the lack of opportunity that Law has got, as lack of killer pace notwithstanding, he does seem to have a future in the game at our level but is now getting old to be the perennial could be

Although its harsh as he did have a good game I can't see it happening as surely Reed will come in to play that role and can't see him starting over Quinn and Boateng on the left of the diamond.

We’ve barely played the diamond all season so can’t see that being an issue.

Agree with that, only one up for debate is Swan as I'm not sure whether him and Oates work as a partnership. Expect Clough to start Akins over Swan but personally would start Bowery as I think he worked very hard against Crewe and a run in the team up front could see him return to goalscoring form.

Yes but Clough sounds like he wants to return to the back 4 and we seem to play either the 4-5-1 or the diamond so either way I cant see him starting over Quinn and Boateng on the left hand side of the midfield.

Agreed. That’s the best side we could put out currently for sure.
