Not totally against Akins playing up top though.

Hopefully Clarke deemed fit enough to start. Could do with his energy in midfield. If he’s not then forget the above.

That’s the side I would like to see, with possibly Jason Law in for Boateng.

Agree with that, only one up for debate is Swan as I'm not sure whether him and Oates work as a partnership. Expect Clough to start Akins over Swan but personally would start Bowery as I think he worked very hard against Crewe and a run in the team up front could see him return to goalscoring form.

If Akins is it he will definitely start him.

Good, I get why he's divisive but we've been awful without him for the most part this year.

Our best spell this season was probably when Akins & Lapslie played up top together.

We've been awful in general - Akins hasn't had any influence on that IMO

I'd play Johnson with Swan and bring Oates on.

I’d doubt very much you’ll see DJ anywhere near the team tomorrow more likely to be sat in the stands

Doncaster double chance (to draw or win) is evens.

That’s virtually printing money

(of course it would be nice to actually win a game and for that not to happen)

We've not been great in general I agree, but our better performances, Wimbledon excepted, Akins has been on the pitch for. Arguably our best two performances were Doncaster and Gillingham, and he was very good in both of them.

Unless something changes in the next few hours, and there's no indication it will, he'll be in the squad tomorrow, probably on the bench.
