If the met office forecast is correct, then the game won't be in any danger.

I think it will off, freezing both nights between now and Saturday, with a high of 4° on Saturday.

Saying 5 degrees tomorrow and Sat, with sunshine both days. Should be fine.

My lawn is solid to a depth of 9 inches, it'll take some thawing.

My app is saying it's going to be -3 overnight in Northampton and only gets above freezing at 11am tomorrow. I reckon it's 50/50.

Northampton forum says they've got the covers on already though so that should help hopefully. They've got a couple of key players out apparently so let's hope it's on.

Someone asked on twitter and Northampton have said the pitch is fine today and they don’t see any issues for tomorrow.
Forget Messi or Ronaldo I'd rather have good honest boys in my team.

Nice one Matt. Sounds like that suits us with the injuries Northampton have, their form has dipped recently (I know ours has too). It's probably a good time to play them.

I agree I for some reason really fancy us to win tomorrow, looking on their forum they’re struggling for defenders I really hope we give it a go and try and take the game to them.

Since they drew with us on Boxing Day, they've had tough fixtures and lost 3/4 against Swindon (Louis Reed played the last 15 minutes), Salford and Stockport. Their 1 win came against arguably the hardest opponent, Orient.

Their home form is pretty good though. They've only lost 2 of the last 10 at home, so I think a draw would be a good result here.

Did you miss the parts about goading opposition fans and having previously been in trouble at football matches?

Everyone should know that running onto pitches during matches is going to result in a ban let alone if you goad the opposition fans. Hardly a young impetuous youth and should have known better.

Fog at the ground will make a big difference. Original forecast was sun from first thing.

That pic makes me doubt that it’s going to go ahead. The good news is that it would give the manager more breathing space with regard to our striking situation
