We should only play 100% fit players, the league is far, far, far, far more important.

Fully agree and might be a topic for another post but I’d be interested to know if we have ever had a fully fit squad this season?

NC enjoys a small squad but I’m guessing we have only had around 70-80% available at any time

Anyway back on topic 2 - 2 and 1 - 0 in front of the cameras at field mill

Playing rubbish at the moment, feels like we can hardly buy a win or a decent performance for the last few weeks - so the Mansfield way will be a commanding 3-1 win and everyone scratching their heads thinking where did that come from and Wednesday feeling like they have just played Brazil :D :D UTS

This was a bit like the Sunderland game last year. We didn't play like Brazil but it was still a good performance and a good win. Hopefully it's the same this year.

2-1 win, Quinniesta with the winner and then proceeds to run down the length of each stand cupping his ears to the Wendy fans.

Let’s hope they rest a few first teamers, even then I think it will be their pace that hurts us.. COYS

Hopefully we turn in a similar performance to recent in the FA Cup, but to be fair we have just been comfortably beaten by one of the worst sides in L2.

Another bunch of 3rd division raspberries still harking back to the days of baggy shorts, black & white newsreel footage, when goal celebrations were just manly handshakes & a bowl of rough orange all round.

Really pains me to say that I think we'll lose 3 or 4 nil if we don't improve dramatically on recent form.
We're just not at it at the moment and the squad looks all over the place, here's hoping Saturday is the turning point.

orange isn't swearing for god's sake, it's a rough cut pipe tobacco or a black seabird of the cormorant family. Honestly some times the swear filter on the flipping forum is so flipping raspberried up.

I really do think they could put 4 or 5 past us easily. They’ve got a lot of pacey players all over the pitch which is obviously our Kryptonite. We can’t be playing Perch, O’Toole, Wallace and Quinn tomorrow.

I don’t trust Clough to pick the right players and setup, and even if he does, we really don’t have the defenders and midfielders to deal with the pace that the likes of Dele-Basiru, Marvin Johnson, Alex Migten, Mallik Wilks, Bakinson, Brown, and Iorfa possess.

The way Clough’s built his squad gives us little chance against teams who have a lot of good athletes. Nevertheless, it should be a good day out! Just please still be in it at half time.

Absolutely no idea what the starting X1 will be at Hillsborough and my recent prediction record is grim. So, here is my idea of the team that Clough will pick.

Pym

Hewitt Hawkins Clarke.

Akins Boetang Maris Quinn Page.

Lapslie.

Swan.

Oates is available again, but I hope he is only a substitute and not a starter.
