We need more players - younger, quicker players.
Our recruitment has been abysmal so get rid of Simon Clough. Gary
Crosby is, apparently, always watching our opponents, so why are we so badly unaware of their threats? So get rid of him, too. Spend their wages on players.
Clough must act NOW, to replace the oldest, slowest back line in L2.

It can't be working with the players, as there is no improvement in open and set plays, from one game to the next. The conversion rate from corners and free kicks must be one of the worst, for any club, in any league

However the defeat must surely be down to Clough's complacency by thinking that his defence is good enough to see out the season when it comprises mainly of aged has beens like Perch and O'toole and a centre forward at centre half. Today was the first time he admitted he had picked the wrong side due to players availability. Having insufficient players is due to his poor recruitment, If he had not wasted the transfer windows we wouldn't be in this mess! We've played most of the season so far with out a recognised striker and he let 2 go strikers who are scoring for fun for rival clubs? If he wants promotion he needs a good january transfer window.

You can't argue that on a consistent basis, he has been good enough and worth his lengthy contract.
Easily one of the worst first touches in League 2, it'e ever the more frustrating when there are better players on the bench not getting a kick.

I can see your point Rob and accept it’s validity to a point but can you tell me, who else in this squad would be as effective in the role and style of play he is being asked to perform? That is not the same as asking who is a more effective striker, a point that is indisputable.
