Harrogate again thread the ball between the RWB and RCB and get through but this time it's pulled back for offside.

Sorry but if you are playing a back 5 then it is basic knowledge that your Wing backs have to be really good players. If they aren’t then you may as well not bother as the success of that formation pretty much hinges on those two players.

Today we have Wallace and Bowery at wing back.

Does Clough honestly think that is anywhere near the required standard? If he does that is seriously concerning.

To compound matters he’s out the slowest defence I can ever recall of Perch, Hawkins and JJ in between them. It’s mental.

Before anyone says ‘oh we have injuries’… that does not excuse extending perch’s conract, or not finding cover at left back for Macca until 2 days ago, or not signing a proper RWB for that matter

Ball out to our left to Quinn. He heads into the area and nobody is in the 18 yard box at all.

Quinn down injured. Looks in a bit of pain.

I fully expected what's happening today.

It's what's been happening for 18 months. float or thread a diagonal ball though our back line and it folds like a cheap suit.

They are embarrassing our entire back line.

O'toole in particular is awful.

About as much penetration as a castrated camel.

Rubbish. Too much messing with the side, no pace, ageing
, defensively crap.

Hewitt and Gordon on the bench but he insists on playing a striker there. Delusional.

I’m not sure what Wallace is playing today but it’s not football and it’s not LWB… Bowery is totally ineffective as a RWB

I hate to say it but we look to be going backwards this season. We’ve been pretty poor these last 10 games or so. If we miss out on the playoffs this season I think Clough has to go. Every team can have a dip in form over the season and hopefully this is just our rough patch. I hope we can get back on it and smash promotion but I’m losing hope with each game.

Attack down their left. Slide a ball between RWB and RCB and he's through on the left. Squares the ball and they finished in the bottom right corner. Hawkins came to close him down before he quared it. Perch stood marking nobody.

This is awful. We have Wallace on the left and Page on the bench. Really?

Serious fall out incoming from this game, a truly unforgivable performance from management and the players.

Harrogate are struggling because they are very bad, yet we have been brushed aside in one half with ease.

Utter disgrace, worst 45 minutes in years. Manager 100% to blame. He's assembled this small, ageing and slow squad.

Please Gazza stop reporting on this shambles and just leave us to see the result at 4.50 and get ready for the post match tried and trusted interview where it wasn't anything that NC did.

Bowery tried to take on his man and surrenders possession. Harrogate put it out for a throw in under pressure from Bowery.

From the throw in we cross in and lose possession and ref blows for half time.

The worst thing is the manager will not be properly quizzed on this shambles.
