They might as well start requesting the additional allocation now…

Does anyone know if you can buy multiple tickets (together) via online sales if you have multiple season tickets. Wondering how we’d get a group together if not, apart from buying in person.

Seems pointless doing the season ticket holders first thing, massive away end that we'll never fill so why bother?

Yeah you can we have done it several times.

Just give all your season ticket numbers to one person and they can book them all at once through the ticket website.

You can buy multiple tickets. You will meet the st numbers for everyone(this starts with MTFC) and their correct names.
Then log into Stagstickets. If you've bought tickets for the home cup games you'll know what to do

I think FA rules state that away ticket allocation is 15% of the stadium capacity, which is currently circa 35k, meaning we'll get at least 5,200 tickets. As the away end holds 6,500 ish that'll be our max, which we won't get to. I'd guess we'll sell around 4k.

The ticket allocation for FA Cup is 15 per cent subject to safety considerations. That might include segregation etc. So some times it’s lower.
I read on their forum that the away stand capacity at Wednesday is 4700 and so maybe that’s what we will get.
I’d guess we will sell 3 - 4k.

Edit I see Rob says the away end capacity is 6700 so above may be wrong.

Away fans are normally placed in the upper tier of the West Stand (the Leppings Lane) end of the ground, where up to 3,700 away supporters can be accommodated. If there is a particularly large following (or for an FA Cup Tie) then the corner described above may also be made available, plus the lower tier of the West Stand. This can take the allocation up to 8,000.

I think we will sell out that upper tier of 3700 but not much more.

You'll get 3k upper and potentially 1k lower.

Despite what floats around the Internet the capacity is much lower across the stadium on the advice of health and safety.

Thanks Barrie

Do you think there will be a big turn out by Owls fans for this game.

Cheers

from https://www.swfc.co.uk/news/2022/novemb ... confirmed/

The Grandstand and Kop will be closed.

As a large proportion of the stadium will be closed for this fixture, Season Ticket seats will not be held, however Season Ticket holders and Members will have a priority booking period.

10-12k probably plus away fans which will be reasonable for the 2nd round of the Cup.

Our lasses dad is an Owl, he told me last night the Kop is closed for this game so it'll just be the two stands open for Wednesday fans down the sides of the pitch.

Clough mentioned in press conference that we’ve got 4-5000 tickets. Stevo didn’t correct him even though the club have only announced an initial allocation of 2000.

I mean why bother, just put all the seats on sale in the upper tier then if they sell out add the lower tier. Its not like they're sending physical tickets as they're online.

Didn’t he say he hoped for us to sell 4-5000 tickets? So if he didn’t know how many tickets were allocated at the time then it could be any number.

I apologise, in that case you may be onto something and hopefully we do end up getting 4 or 5000 tickets!

Due to health and safety the max you'll get is 4k including the lower tier.

That's poor. We took 3300 to Doncaster last year and their ground is half the size.

Newer ground, more in line with current health and safety laws
