How do we tend to do against Curle? His sides are usually whiny cheaters but I seem to recall we mostly get the better of it?

I make it 15 games, 6 wins for us, 4 wins for him and 5 draws.

His first away game as Carlisle manager was also against Mansfield.

I’m off out as well with something that was settled before they moved it so would take a postponement. Or else I’m relying on bbc sport notifications.

The weather isn't great this evening, windy and wet conditions. I hope the decision to move the game until tonight doesn't bite us in the ar$e

The realisation that Curle was appointed our manager 20 years ago has made me feel very old today.

Same.

Wait until next season. It'll be 20 years since the season we went to the Millennium Stadium for the play off final because the current Wembley was being built!

I think an early goal will really settle this. Expectations are on us tonight.

If we're going to do something, this is a potential banana skin we need to negotiate. Pitch will have some zip from the rain too.

Can't blame clough for keeping a winning team going, but hope we get the midfield forward with pace and overload these. They'll be fragile.

Come on stags.
You've got to go there and come back, to know where you've been.

Stags take kick off. To Maris. Put to Gordon on the right he takes on his man and puts in a good cross Lapslie traps it but is crowded out and out to Gordon again his cross is cleared.

Gordon Cross is headed out to Maris, put to macca, his low cross can't be directed goalward and lapslie tries to get on the end of it but the keeper collects.

We've come out the traps racing. Would have preferred 5 mins to warm up or something

Lapslie plays a ball through for Akins. He can't quite get there in time but is offside anyway.
