Energy subsidy and proposed tax cuts means borrowing at a all time high.
Strikes are in the news every day and times are hard for every one.
I would imagine Football clubs are also feeling the pinch, and i am sure the club would not have taken this decision without consideration of everyone concerned

A poor and rather strange decision in my opinion.

We’ve already had the Ukraine card and the Queen card in this thread. Only need:

- Covid
- Brexit
- Tories

And it’s a full house.

Seriously though, are we now living in a world where you aren’t allowed to legitimately raise concerns over business decisions that potentially affect hundreds of people because of a war taking place over a thousand miles away?!

It’s a crap decision made with no consideration to fans.

Not advocating the move in any way, it's a massive inconvenience to me - but the energy price increases happen in October, so the energy costs for the Hartlepool game will be at a cheaper rate than the one for the Walsall game.

No consideration for fans travelling from further afield. Decisions are made, and it's either like it or lump it. Just as we see a rise in season ticket sales and match day attendance, the club seem he'll bent on destroying it.

If you really feel that the 'UK being threatened with nuclear attack' has anything to do with Mansfield v Walsall being moved forward two hours, you need to lay off the sangria.

'The UK being threatened with nuclear attack' led to the decision to move a 3pm kick off to a 1pm kick off?

Sounds like you need to chill out a bit, man.

I thought he was just listing problems in the world right now, all of which are true. I didn't explicitly read that we've moved the game back due to a threat of nuclear attack.

And no, that's not me saying I agree with moving the game back.

Perhaps take a look at the actual post next time. And lay off the sangria.

Perhaps they're testing the water. If the savings on energy are more than offset by a loss in ticket sales they may not do it again. I am old enough to remember pre floodlight games which started early and finished quite often in semi gllom
