We have tributes to Sandy and Kev Bird.

Should we do something for Rod.

Random post I know but I was talking to my some tonight and I think we should.

He was certainly the best keeper I’ve seen in the last 50 plus years.

Thoughts?

He loved diving around in mud lol spurs at home,great keeper
Doc said i needed a pacemaker,so ive now got a flippin kenyan 2 yds in front of me everywhere i go.

How about a local cup for young goalkeepers in the area in amateur teams at a certain level to be presented for the best performance in a season or the most penalties saved ??

I knew Rod growing up as a kid. He was married at the time to my friend Older sister

Then at College he turned out to be my Coach of the Football team and I played for him for a while

Great guy off the pitch and a true Stags Legend. Definitely deserving of recognition, but maybe I’m bios lol
