Lapslie and OClarke

Lapslie should be treated the same as OClarke by giving him an extended contract to 2024 For his commitment to play 90+ minutes and assisting others and not being greedy. Hope Nigel acts soon?

How do you know he hasn't been offered one?

You’d have thought that we’ve already started discussions with all our better players, including him. Always the chance that he doesn’t want to sign, especially if we don’t go up - not as if he’s a local lad like some of the others.

Not saying they definitely won’t sign if they’re not local but that’s just one consideration amongst others on whether they want to. Also as others have said his mrs is local which helps.

I agree John. We certainly need to keep hold of him. AtLeast NC has finally worked out Laps is brilliant when utilising his best positions AMC or Forward

Maybe a shock to Oates and just what he needs…..competition on his return. Oates is class running with the ball on goal but his passing, vision lets him down. Even Swan has more an overall game…….but Oates can score.

Akins, Laps, Oates

And Akins seems to be coming good…..just when we really needed it

Be a nice headache for NC. Like the Midfield

Fighting for your place has got to be a good thing
