Had a dream last night we made it to the play off final and were winning 1-0 after 85 minutes.
At that point I turned the game off, checked again later to see we'd lost 6-0 AET.

It was against Port Vale though, so that's how you know it's unrealistic.

Not that we were winning 1-0 and somehow lost 6-0 after extra time? Did you find out why we got docked a goal?

Based on the current table PPG's, Stags will need 75 points to finish in the TOP 7 (PLAY-OFFS)

Current Table
PLD...W...D...L...PTS...PPG
.38...17..10..11...61...1.61

Required for 75 points
PLD...W...D...L...PTS...PPG
.8......4...2...2....14...1.75
.8......3...5...0....14...1.75

Stags current PPG 1.61 would total 74 points over a season.

On course to finish BELOW the PLAY-OFF places.

Current.........PPG
Orient...........2.03
Northampton..1.79
Stevenage.....1.79
----------------------
Carlisle..........1.69
Bradford........1.68
Stockport.......1.64
Salford..........1.62
----------------------
Stags............1.61

Based on the oppositions PPG to reach 75 points,

Swindon......Away LOSE
Rochdale.....Home WIN
Grimsby......Away DRAW
Newport.....Away WIN
Stevenage..Home DRAW
Orient........Home LOSE
Harrogate...Home WIN
Colchester...Away WIN

After 38 games, Stags are now 5 points behind compared to last season.

Good performance yesterday, but Crawley's defending/marking was well below League 2 standard.

The league table shows how disappointing it is that Stags didn't gain the extra 4 points in the 2 home games v Sutton Utd & Grimsby. Stags would be 3 points behind 3rd place Stevenage with them still having to visit Field Mill.

Swindon have only won 2 out of the last 12 games, not winning any of the last 6 games.

That will mean winning six and losing two from last eight or winning 5 and drawing three.

I think we will get 75: win 4 draw 2 lose 2

Swindon lose, Rochdale win, Grimsby win, Newport lose, Stevenage win, Leyton draw, Harrogate win, Colchester draw

I think it's going to be playoffs and all we can hope for is that we go into them with some momentum from the last few games.

If we manage top 7 then we shouldn’t fear anyone in there except for Salford who have done the double easily over us!

Personally not sure 75 will be enough for playoffs, think it might even go up to 77.

Really big game on Friday. We never get anything at Swindon but Musings pointed out the other week how bang average they have been at home this season so we need to be changing our fortunes there this time around. Hope it’s a far better Easter weekend than last year!

We shouldn't fear anyone except 33.3333% of the other teams

Well as anyone between 2nd and 9th could realistically end up in the playoffs, it would be a slightly lower percentage than just taking the 4 that will finish in the playoffs! Hopefully Salford are not one of those teams that do then it would be fearing 0%
