If you're a bit disappointed by a comfortable 2-0 away win, I'd probably give football a rest if I were you.

We should have scored more, but disappointed is not a word I would use to relate to today's game, result and performance

Nothing to be disappointed about, obviously if we were playing a better team not adding a extra goal or two might have bitten us but Gillingham are pretty rubbish so it did not matter.

That's strong, even for me. Just enjoy an away win. We played well. Have a beer.

Orient are smashing it at the top, 9 points ahead of us, but.it can't last, can it?

You'd expect barrow and Stevenage to fall away...

Bradford looking good, Andy cook really being lethal with another 2 today.

We're quietly looking pretty in 7th.

I was thinking the same, not necessarily orient but barrow and stevenage you’d have thought.

after saturdays showing with the same forwardniptions i wasn’t optimistic about today but didnt take into account how poor they’d be

A solid and competent performance. Gillingham look good candidates to drop again and you would think Harris is a worried man.

Well done to all and looking forward to making this a habit.

Job done, good win!

Thought Lapslie was superb first half and pleased for Akins to get another goal with a great finish.

Gillingham were very poor.

Easiest away points we will get all year. They were nearly as bad as Scunthorpe were last season. Can see them going thr same way.

We could have just sent out Hawkins and Pym 2nd half and still won comfortably.

7 points better off than at this stage last season.

Scored 2 more and conceded 5 less.

The next 5 games last season saw us score 2 goals and get 2 points.

I could comfortably see us being 14 points better off than we were after game 14 of last season. (we'd need 9 points from those 5 games) I'd absolutely snap your hands off for 2 wins and 3 draws.

Lovely to get another clean sheet. That's one goal conceded in 3 games without any permanent central defenders in the side.

Should I mention we've got no strikers either?

The number of corners we are having is incredible, especially away from home:

So far in the 9 games this season we have had 72 corners, this is 16 more than the next highest in League 2 - there is only Derby with 74 that have had more than us in the entire 92.
In away games we have had 41, which is 10 clear of the next highest in League 2 and 3rd behind Derby and Ipswich in the whole league
In our home games we have had 31 from 4 games - only 3 behind the highest, who have played one more game.

The comparing points ,goals scored and conceded at the same stage last season with this will probably stop in October.......

Or hopefully not..

As poor a trolling it is from broomo I hope he continues in this vein till May :D

Not trolling at all.

Just posting statistical facts.

I also expect it will drop off at some point but don't ever expect us to have to close the kind of gap we closed last year.

Just watched the brief highlights, beautifully weighted pass by Hartigan for the second goal.

Agreed another very poor side along with Doncaster who also lost again today but fair play you can only beat what’s in front of you but let’s not carried away .

Surprisingly really, but the worst teams we've played up to yet were both relegated from Div1 last season.
