Wouldn't it be best to wait for the club to make an announcement?

Not going to make it public as other clubs will add in
on money knowing we’re desperate for a forward

I don’t think he will until the window is closed and/or we’ve signed a striker.

The specialist report will be inconclusive so will be sent for a second specialist, the results of this will be known on September 1st.

I doubt he saw the specialist, and the results were reported back to you, all before 7.25am.

On injuries has there been any news on Boateng and Akins? Not much was made of these at the time but been a while now.

yes. I do always include this stuff in my report by the way.

my report: Mansfield were without several players through injury: Boateng (tight hamstring, hopefully available next week), Akins (groin, also hopefully available next week), Quinn (problem with his hip, again hopefully available next week),

Clough interview: “Stephen Quinn dropped out of training yesterday.
“He has a problem with his hip that's been niggling him.
“We hope to have him back next week - Lucas Akins and Hiram Boateng the same if all goes well.”

Ban him Martin for spreading false and possibly damaging rumours.

In his defence it's not a bad guess. If the rumours on the extent of the injury are true we'd be getting him under the knife asap

It's a 50/50 guess, he either is or he isn't.
