I could be wrong but don’t think you can recall on six month loans?

Well I don’t think he can recall this window at all, and he’s back in January technically anyway so that’s impossible I think.

Nigel Clough was referring to having a recall clause in January for season long loans.

From Martin's Rochdale home game report:
"Clough told me last week (after the Walsall away game) that he would not have sent Menayese out on loan if he'd known how it would pan out with injuries. Menayese is out on loan for the season, but Clough has previously said that he always inserts a recall clause in loan moves."

We signed two injured centre backs because we missed out on our main target that day (Sam Hughes).

Clough is hardly going to come out and say, 'yeah i'm glad we loaned him out' after a defeat is he?

This obsession with this board of keeping around players who will be on a decent wage, who have have been poor for us is very strange.

Nigel Clough knew Sam Hughes was injured but he was one for the future if we could get him in on a permanent signing. He did not make his first start for Burton until January.

I think that would only be available to us in January, when the loan recall clause would kick in.
