Speaking to numerous season tickets holders we’ve all had the same problem of the cards not actually scanning and then the bloke just letting us through by pressing the button.

Spot on comment Brother. Some of us make the effort to get in the ground early, and I have to travel a fair way in the car at that.

Instead I have people obscuring my view as they wander in 5 mins up-to 15 minutes late

My comments are not regarding the season ticket not scanning issue. Club needs to sort that.

My context regards time management, as I honestly don’t believe the IGU late arrivals are scanning related.

IGL no better. Arrived at 7.20 to a massive queue and after 10 minutes it finally started moving. Nobody's card seemed to be scanning and the steward on the gate was letting everyone in using a QR code on his phone. Missed the kick off but got sat down just in time to see the 1st goal !!

To all those suggesting we should get there earlier, I'm sorry I had to work till 6 and then needed something to eat before setting off.

The barcode is the problem , the scanners work fine with phones or tickets printed with the QR code on , most season tickets with barcodes are just failing or taking ages to work . Need to change the scanners or fo all season tickets with a QR code

Got there 25 mins before kick off. About five in the queue. The four of us, two adults, two children, all in within a couple of minutes. One of us even had a bag checked. I thought the stewards were efficient.

If it's the barcodes it isn't all of them.

In queue 7:23. Got in 7:50 . Shambles for a League 2 game with just over 5000 there. Good job we didn't beat Port Vale in that regard.

Waited around ten mins in the queue to get into IGU for R block. Guy in front of me was waving his card around so much it didn’t give the scanner a chance to pick it up, I helped him out with it and it went straight to green and then he stood looking at it still non plussed lol. It will get better in time as everyone gets used to it but more turnstiles wouldn’t go a miss either especially if crowds grow to bigger then 5700

I noticed walking past the IGS that there is a door with the number 10 above it so presumably there is a turnstile there. Has anyone ever seen this open
Seems to me that if they can put a scanner in it could reduce the congestion at that end

I’m not sure it’s the system. No queue in QLE. Whenever there’s a slight queue it’s because someone doesn’t know how to scan the bar code. Saw a lass using her phone and it took her ages to get in, until someone suggested turning the brightness up on her phone. It was better in the good old days with the booklet

It’s definitely the system. Season tickets don’t seem to be scanning properly for most people, in the West Stand anyway.
