Johnson was a flop at our club because Oates became such a success and he didn't fit in a system with him.

Until today, I haven't seen anyone calling for Oates to be dropped. I thought we were frightened off him being signed by a League a one at the end of last season

Same problems as at the end of last season. Defence switching off and nobody to finish all the good play from midfield.Its like we've just missed the 6 weeks between this, and last season, out.

Not sure if still feeling last season’s injury but Oates has been noticeably less dynamic up front compared to Swan when we are pressing.

The two sitters that he has missed aside he does not seem as fit as we have seen him.

I have not generally been impressed by Gordon but I’ve liked his performance today and his crossing seems to have improved. First time seeing Harbottle who seems tidy as well.
